Our Story
Built on relationships. Driven by results.
Finding a Better Way to Hire
How a consultative mindset changed everything.
In 1994, Priority One Staffing was founded with a bold idea: to bring a human-centered, relationship-first approach to staffing.
Back then, the industry was largely transactional. Staffing firms were focused on speed over substance, volume over value. We believed employers and candidates deserved more.
So we built a different kind of firm — one that listens, solves problems creatively, and treats people like people.
How We’ve Grown
Once a small team in Maryland, now a trusted regional partner.
What began as a local startup has grown into a go-to partner for public agencies, nonprofits, and companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
We’ve evolved with the market — introducing remote recruiting workflows, actor-led simulations for crisis training, and new technologies to improve speed and fit.
But our core hasn’t changed. We’re still hands-on. Still invested. Still building long-term partnerships grounded in trust.
